existing owners of live 8 might find the following instructions on how to access the m4l demo useful:

1. get live 8.1 and max 5.1 (the max 5.1 available on cycling74 includes the max 5.1 runtime). install both both applications.

2. start live 8.1. go to preferences. select the user account ...

I think this is a wonderful idea -- second it BIG time. Allow us to reclaim the screen landscape if we need it with a simple kb shortcut!

no problems here -- and i use battery 2 on almost everything. hope you have some luck figuring it out!

i'm a new live user, but i wanted to resurrect this idea. i love this program, but there is only one thing that i miss from sx: being able to dump stuff into a folder track. the ideas in this thread should be implemented asap -- they make a lot of sense!

for example, i have a about 8 midi tracks ...

one fem here -- just switched from cubase sx to live and i haven't looked back. very excited for flive which I *hope* is coming out real soon!
