I have recently downloaded the IPad version of Live Remote and cant get it to work properly. Support at Iximix have not yet replied to my email asking for help.
The midi script download from the Iximix web site does not seem contain any data, consequently the app will not communicate with Ableton ...

Can't comment on transport controls, but when I tried to manualy map sustain pedal via the Impulse keyboard it would not recognise the midi signal coming from the sustain pedal or allow us to edit CC #'s.
The only thing I can now suggest is you log teh problem with Novation and Ableton tech ...

Novation tech support have been guiding me through this, and have eventually stated that the problem lies within Ableton software. They have issued bug report to Ableton. ABLETON - PLEASE SORT THIS OUT !

Does anyone out there have any problems with sustain pedal working correctly with Novation Impulse 61?
I am experiencing various problems, but the main issue is with sustain pedal. If the Novation Impulse control surface is deselected in Ableton prefs, it works fine.

I have taken the plunge and bought AKAI APC40, and have to say it's brilliant. It has solved all my midi mapping problems, and is very intuitive to use.

Thanks for the info - I have made some progress , by mapping faders 9-16 to midi channel 2 (Faders 1-8 on Channel 1) but not totally there yet!
