Hi
I use the fcb1010 only to control ableton . i basically want to use it as a pedal board to trigger effects on and off live.
i've setup the fcb to turn "ON" different audio effects (chained in the audio effects area) while the audio track is record enabled but for some reason, I cannot get ...

Re: The Definitive Guide to Programming the FCB1010 for Live
I know this is a thread mostly about looping using the FCB1010, but for those of you who want to use it as an effects pedal and switch between them quickly and effectively you might find this solution useful. I've used this setup for about a year now and it works perfectly for me, and i've noticed ...

Re: Controlling Live with Foot Pedals (FCB1010)
Hi,
You might find this useful, but it uses the instrument rack instead of 5 separate channels. i use it for guitar effects within an effect rack. I haven't tried it with your setup but it should work. just depends if you want to route your outputs in a particular way.

Re: switching channels exclusivly
i posted this a couple of months ago, but you'll have to be using live 7 to work it, as it uses an effects rack within one channel.

Re: Live as guitar effects rig with FCB1010
the FCB1010 is a midi controller pedal - it has no effects in the pedal itself. With an amp you can only use it to change effect preset on your amplifier - unless you have some kind of MIDI input on your amplifier. I don't really know how it works, but I think you need to use the SWITCH 1 to connect ...

Re: How do you make YOUR Live set?
I perform in a band, so I use Live in a multifunctional kind of way, but all within the same set.
It's my guitar effects rig, operated using an FCB1010 (i used to use an old midi keyboard with sticky tape over the keys as my MIDI pedals), provides backing vocal effects for our keyboardist, and ...

Re: Live as guitar effects rig with FCB1010
cool i'm glad it works. With the expression pedals it's slightly more fussy. Basically the only way I've got it to work so far is by assigning a separate pedal to the expression pedal. So for example, I'll assign pedal 1 to activate the effect chain, and then pedal 2 to activate the expression pedal ...

Re: Need help with FCB1010
Just saw this after i posted a whole new thread on it. Hope you find it useful. It should allow you to switch between chains of effects quickly and easily within a single effect rack.

Live as guitar effects rig with FCB1010
I wasn’t able to find this anywhere on the ableton forums (or anywhere else) so I thought I’d post my solution for using Live for guitar effects in performance, controlled by the Behringer FCB1010 midi pedal. It enables you to do everything within a single effect rack using just the chain selector ...
