Re: Help with warping!
I think you're going about this all wrong. You should check out the section on warping in the manual, or you can read this guide, warping isn't as difficult as you're making it:

Re: warp markers not on transients?
how do people dj with ableton? do you really have to go through and check warp markers before using any music? i thought it just automagically worked? i mean setting a downbeat and approx tempo is fine, but then it's just meant to work? no? You will ALWAYS have to make adjustments to the warp marke...

^^ Agreed. Automap isn't going to be useful for you when DJing. You'd have to click on a device manually in order for Automap to pick it up which pretty much defeats the purpose of using a controller. Grab the template editor software from the Novation site and make yourself a DJ template for templa...

Today I got a new code and download link for my mac for free from Mixed in Key. I guess somebody must have been reading around here. This forum seems quite powerful in a way :P But seriously, this is a strong move from them, reconsidering their marketing politics and changing this so fast. THUMBS U...

i realise that not all tracks will sound the same in different tempo's but if my range is 125 - 130 shouldnt be too noticable, is really isnt on vinyl or cd decks, the rhodes and vocals shouldnt sound stretched and stressed, you would think it would be easier on a pc based software than cd decks I ...

Live renders audio in WAV of AIFF format. Both are uncompressed audio types. The reason the tracks that you are using are so small is that they are MP3s. If you were to use the same tracks in WAV format they would likely be in the neighborhood of 80 - 100 MB each. Zipping WAV format files will do al...

In all seriousness, even HDTVs have a resolution of 1080. Most regular monitors will have higher resolutions. So the screen may be big, but you won't get to put a lot of info in your screen. Better to get a 24inch computer monitor that has a screen res of 1900x1200. I don't know how you do things d...

I smoked for 10 years and finally got to the point that I was feeling ill all the time and didn't know why. The book (was mentioned above) "Allen Carr's Easy Way to Quit Smoking" totally works. For those looking to quit, consider reading the book, it's worked for lots of people. The best part is you...

oh, and display the first three digits of everyone's IP address so faggots like Crash will stick to one nick. You'd be right at the top of the list of people I'd love to see crawl back in a hole forever. +1. Seriously though, how many times do we need to see people use the word "faggot". I assume t...
