Sound Card To Replace Echo Indigo DJ on new Macbook ???

Hi Guys,

Just got a new Macbook so I can't use my Echo Indigo DJ sound card anymore.

Looking for suggestions on a replacement USB sound card.

2 channels will do - one for ausio out and one for the headphones.

Any suggestions would be appreciated !

USB Mixer Suggestions for DJing live?

Hi guys,

Just wanted to get some views on the best USB mixer for live DJing on Ableton. I've used a UC 33e before but these are quite old now.

Whats new and exciting?

Usually use 4 - 6 channels.

Thanks in advance!

Help me please - UC33 controler + Ableton 7

I am having trouble mapping the controls on my UC33e to Ableton. I thought all I needed to do was click on the MIDI icon in live and away I go?

Anyone think of something I am overlooking here?

Please and thankyou!

Make sure the track is fully selected with the loop bracket.

File

Render to Disk

that saves it as a WAV then you will need to convert to MP3 by using a program like Cool Edit Pro

Its not Ableton that has the problem - its either the track or the process people use!

i'm not trying to flame just point some things out. you can shread the source material ("remix") as you say with turntables ect. as well hip hop DJ's have been doing it for years and a lot of house/tech- jocks do it with decks as well you could never call this a "live set" .. but i think calling a ...
