hey wondering if i could get some clarification on why i cant use a max for live demo??

i have ableton 8.2.2 live (not suite) educational version....

when i download a 30 day trial from ableton for max for live it simply doesnt show up in ableton, even after re-authorization....

just making some pre masters...
does it reduce headroom if i use the utility's gainer so effectively drop the whole track.... ala turning down the master fader does...

was wondering if there was a way to select more than one grid in the drum racks?
ie i want to assign the transpose to a macro of multiple cells all @ once...
not getting anywhere with the usual combination of holding keys..

i have a trigger finger and i am wanting to utilize the pressure sensitivity to modulate things like filter cutoff etc etc, does anyone know how to achive this in ableton? do i have to change my maps in the enigma editor or can it be done inside ableton?

paid big money for ableton and its so unreliable, never had problems with a cracked version on windows!
now when i buy it on max (8) it crashes all the time, and im not running any cracked plugins at all...
if i just bought 8 is it possible to downgrade to 7 until they get ...

im setting up for a gig on the weekend and i want a page of drum racks for each track, i dont understand why when u drag the window over the drum rack grid it doesnt go up to the next full 16 it leaves the very top four on the next grid which now reside at the bottom, and i cant seem to change ...
