Hi,
I load samples into simpler or sampler and it sounds like each note on the midi editor is separated my a whole octave. I am sampling some pantera guitar sounds.
Anyone know whats going on??

How would they have done the big orchestral type sound in this song? Synth? Sample? record an actual orchestra? Is it possible to get this type of sound from a synth? (sorry im only fairly new)

I can remember seeing a thread with a sample file that you can download and run on your machine to test proformance of your machine by noteing the cpu usage.

Hi, I just recorded a power chord on my guitar with a distorted amp...I was hoping to put it into simpler and make some riffs with it but when I put the .wav file in, put some notes in the midi editor and play it back, it sounds really tinny or really fat and muddy...depending on what note you hit ...

i've got some tones really close to Justice's sound with ableton. the trick is running like 3-10 bass tracks into a bass bus and compressing them all. try creating a few bass tones that mix really well together.
