when i first installed Live 8 i noticed the same thing but i think the reason is the new Live defaults to warp in Beat mode rather than Tone mode. just re downloaded 5 and to my dismay the verification failed upon completion of download. i was able to open the disc image but noticed no preset ot content folders, which could be the reason why live 5 doesnt open at all on my sytem... but live 4 does work and was installed the same way ...

upgraded from 10.2.8 to 10.3.4 upgraded my pro tools to 6.4 and the core driver for my digi 001. pro tools works, reason, kontakt,peak,all my audio apps except for Live 5. i tried trashing prefs, changing the name to old prefrences,, re installing,verifying permissions,moving my VST plug in library ...

yeah sounds famiiar...what i cant understand is why all my audio apps work? and usually for me Live would open and load and then not be able to recognize the digi001 as an in or out midi etc.

right now ive updated to 6.5.2 which runs w/ panther and digi 001

i was runninng 6.1.2 w/ jag. but all my apps still work but not live, i even trashed the whole thing and re downloaded.......

no...theyve updated the drivers and PT for digi 001 in panther. all of my apps (audio) work fine....plus Live would at least open then give me some error message, but now it just bounces and closes. weird.

so i was running Live 5 on 10.2.8 on my g4 450 dual plenty of ram with a digi 001. everything was great. then i decieded to upgrade to panther. i did so, and pro tools works, reason works, peak, kontakt, FM7 etc all work, the digi 001 was showing up etc. guess what wont open? Live. just bounces ...

what i mean is lets say you record a 3 minute guitar track and you cut up maybe three loops out of it...is there a way then you can delete the rest of the file so you can save hard drive room. i understand you can save the "clips" but Live still needs the original file to reference. in Pro Tools you ...
