Define better. It certainly downloads faster But, probably not as complete, but it does offer MORE!
I like the sound sets at that site, that's for sure. Very creative stuff!

I have a script that tells me the name and parameter number of all the parameters of a device in a chain. With Simpler, I keep getting different reports, I suppose depending on the type of samples loaded and what is enabled. I have a M4l patch where I always want a knob to attach to the Envelope ...
I know a lot of you are interested in linking video to your sets in Max for Live. We've come up with what is a pretty nice solution for integrating visuals to Live. These devices provide interpretation and messaging for control of video clips and effects in Livid's CellDNA VJ software: http://blog ...
I haven't tried them in M4L, but you might want to try the vbap externals http://cicm.mshparisnord.org/ vbapan~, ambipan~, and, if in 3d, ambicube~ If you don't speak french, don't worry. Click "Telechargements" (which is a way cooler word for "download" anyway), and from there you can get an ...
Is it possible to activate "automate and stored" in the visibility parameter somehow?
...The idea being that you could control the "sliders" in live.step with physical knobs or sliders? Maybe. I haven't tried, and probably won't get to for a few days. However, I encourage you to try it!
hi, it's in the source package: http://lividserver.com/dl/ohm/LividStep_m4l.zip
but here it is anyway: <pre><code> ----------begin_max5_patcher---------- 436.3ocyU9sSCBCEF+Z3onodKZZ4+5c9bXVLEnNqAZIiRb5xd2sTfMltYJLk vMkzSObNe+9ZKry1BlH1RqffG.OArr1YaYoC0DvpatErfrMMmToSCJpk4TIz ocIdcAiqlqWC2ErjHSekwW ...
For those without Max For Live, I've been working on a standalone version of this so you can direct the output over IAC or MIDI Yoke (or to outboard gear). Even if you do have max for live, you might find this standalone easier to integrate into your setup, sending MIDI to tracks in your existing ...
Just wanted to announce I've made a lot of fixes and improvements to LividStep. It's designed for our Ohm64 and block controllers. Even if you don't have one of our controllers, the m4l device is worth a look, and adaptable to other devices. It centers around live.step, but takes over the clock so ...
Nice stuff! I'm working on a mad step sequencer for the Ohm64. I'll be sharing my code once it's cleaned up. Since I can't do sysex, I have to use notes to light things up. I'm relying on the factory default MIDI settings, then converting those into something useful in my m4l device. Converting the ...
I reached similar conclusions wrt to live.object vs. live.remote~. One thing I noted in another thread is that live.remote~ vs. control of volume via midi learn is really different. I found that MIDI learned volume is way more responsive than live.remote~.
