I just closed Live 10 after saving an old project from Live 9, but when reopened it looked like a fresh install; stock skin, and all my 3rd party plugins were not scanned, collections were all gone as well as my stored 'Places'

Any idea why this happened and if I can get all my settings back?

When I am editing midi notes in a Live 8 clip, I have noticed that after I select some notes and make an adjustment , the notes I had selected shortly deselect themselves after I start playing the clip.

I have a G4 macbook with one firewire 800 port.

For my music production I use a fireface 800 interface and an 3 year old lacie 60GB firewire hard drive.

Hi, I am hoping to clear up something I am not quite clear on:

I use an alesis x25 midi controller
I also use live 5.x (soon to upgrade ;)

the x25 has midi presets loaded on it.These dont seem to do anything at all.

I have heard of something called "instant mapping" / "auto mapping" being batted ...

thats a good idea... why didn't i think of that?!

The X25 has presets loaded onto it, and there is one called "Live"
but it does bugger all when I load it up.
