I live in University Heights, right near downtown San Diego and its quite a mess here in So Cal. There are more than a few direct acquaintances of mine that have lost their homes. I feel so sorry for them, especially my best friend, who still doesnt know how his home fared... he had so much invested ...

The Ableton/Logic thread is going to be a staple around here.
The forum has spoken, Logic 8 is more bang for the buck.

I like them both for different reasons.

Reason is a great way to have gotten rid of all my gear, but to maintain the overall sounds and aesthetic of the process. I really like it and can usually bang out a track pretty quickly, if I know what I am going for. It sounds great too!
