I live in University Heights, right near downtown San Diego and its quite a mess here in So Cal. There are more than a few direct acquaintances of mine that have lost their homes. I feel so sorry for them, especially my best friend, who still doesnt know how his home fared... he had so much invested...

Re: Take Comping Workarounds

Well, I was hoping for this in L7 but no dice, so i guess I will have to stick to my old way of doing it. Re: My Misguided Conclusion

The Ableton/Logic thread is going to be a staple around here. The forum has spoken, Logic 8 is more bang for the buck. The problem is that they really are two different animals, therefore a lot of you, if funds and computer platform are viable, would integrate both. I don't use Ableton in performan...

I like them both for different reasons. Reason is a great way to have gotten rid of all my gear, but to maintain the overall sounds and aesthetic of the process. I really like it and can usually bang out a track pretty quickly, if I know what I am going for. It sounds great too! Reaktor I like becau...

Y'know, having worked with children for so long, I find your words so, so sad. Seriously. Kids are born with an incredible, wonderful capacity to see mystery in so many things. And we kill it...over and over and over again. They GET the miracles, and we, too often, plop 'em in from of a DVD on tv a...

All evolutionary argument based on presupperition? And there was me thinking it was based on the mountains of evidence. Show me the evidence for specifically Macro-evolution. Trait shifting in a single species does happen, and its reasons are obvious, but I did not come from a dog, or a fish, it is...

victorjohn.... Y'Know what...we don't know shit. The meds we use, if they work, create just as many problems as they solve. And bio-psychoharm's understanding of depression/anxiety etc., ha ve never, ever been proved. Great science. It would seem, as victorjohn indicates, that our sick socities pro...

I'll post a note to Dawkins to be more prosaic in his diatribe in order that the dialog remain e...

And as for Dawkins, there are colleagues of his the believe the exact opposite, in whom shall I place my faith? if you have faith that needs placing you can put it where you like mate. Dawkins certainly doesnt ask for anyones faith. Wait, tell me what I believe on an internet forum, because that is...
