just have a question. i have just bought live8 and I opened a project i used to work on with live 7.14.
its a project with almost 100 audio clips, already warped and ready to play.

i discovered that live8 does have to re render every clip on startup. it takes a lot of time and so ...

today i have played with 6 loudspeakers and the sound was coming out saturated.
couldnt correct it.
the basses were too loud. i had to put at almost zero the bass frequencies knob.
my soundcard is an edirol fa66. it is supposed to be good. or not?

i already own an edirol fa66 firewire sound card, but im planning to buy one with better sound quality.

Do all versions of live use 4gb of ram on mac?
Or are you just referring to live 8?
