Oops Im sorry I was referring to the original post so that the clips fall in different channels instead of all on the same one. Not a key to get to the other view. A shortcut to get the clips to line up on different channels instead of all in a row on one.
I should have explained better sorry ...

Re: Moving clips from session to arrangement view
There is a short cut. Anyone know it? You can highlight all the tracks in Session View and then drag and hold a key when you drop them in arrangement but I forget what it is.
Old post but I thought Id open it since I am trying to figure this out.

Re: MIDI issues signal in the top right none on the channel.
Wow not a very active forum. Well seems to have fixed itself overnight. I have no idea what the problem was. I restarted about a million times last night.
Works now so all is good.

MIDI issues signal in the top right none on the channel.
I have been using a M-audio Keystudio keyboard for a while now. Used it all yesterday and some of this morning. Went to mess around on a track I've been working on and bamo! Won't work. Keyboard is on. I get a signal in the upper right that the midi is coming through. I do not however get a signal ...

Re: How do I change pitch of a sample but not the time?
Ahh figured it out I think. Rather than warp multiple samples and spread them out in the Zone. I just duplicated a bunch of the same sample and transposed it in clip view. Then spread them out in the Zone.
Cool thanks everyone!

Re: How do I change pitch of a sample but not the time?
I have it warped and dropped into Sampler. When I play it out across my trigger finger it is pitched differently but slows down or speeds up with pitch change.

How do I change pitch of a sample but not the time?
Having trouble figuring it out. I want to change the pitch of a sample but not have it slow down or speed up. There must be an easy way that I'm just not seeing.
Thanks everyone.
Thanks everyone.

Re: How to open EQ Eight
You might do some reading in the manual as well. I didn't read it for sooo long and then one day decided to download and study it up. I learned so many short cuts and exactly what all of the Live instruments and effects do, as well as how to tweak them. Got me really excited about using Live again.
