Hi guys,
I'm running 8.2 and when I play a project, the graphics sort of slow down. The updates happen at like 2 FPS. Is this something obvious that I'm overlooking?
Thanks a lot
Damian

wish - spectrum display instead of waveform
Hi!
One of the things I'm missing most in Ableton Live is seeing what is happening in clips that are whole songs.
With a spectrum display you could see where there's a lot of reverb, where there are hihats, where there's bass... at a glance!
I think it would be great to have that.

Hi,
Well, to avoid too many buttons, I use two buttons for scene navigation (those assignations appear in MIDI assign mode, ctrl M), which allows me to navigate vertically, then I use one button per track to control the track's fire button, which appears the same way between the clip area and the ...

some questions: hardware controller and dropping effects
QUESTION1.
Old, old, old question for you guys probably...
I was thinking of making one of those MIDIO128 controllers like on http://ucapps.de for clip launching.
With each song I put into ableton, I end up 2-3 channels: 1 channel with the song split up into like 20-40 clips (each part has a clip ...

Hi guys!
What I want to do is this:
1. I'm playing a fast track, e.g. 140 BPM
2. I drop in
161. Hallucinogen - [In Dub #01] Mi-Loony-Um (A Floating Butterfly Stings Like A Bee Mix) [9:19]
THIS TRACK
how this track works:
it starts out with a clock ticking, it's a loop. it's got high BPM. what ...
