Re: Producing House Music with Ableton Live: Bass & Synth
Hey Timothy - I bought your first set of tutorials on making a Producing Live Drums for House Music. I really enjoyed it and watched it several times. The one thing I wished was different (and I almost emailed you about this) was that I thought it ended a little too abruptly without some sort of ...

Re: SAFFIRE 6 USB-drummer click track-suggestions?
Hi - based on your sig, I'm assuming you're running Win7 64 bit. Any issues with the drivers so far on that platform? I've been holding off buying one of these until I heard more about the driver stability.
Thanks,

Splitting up the library
Are there any tricks to split up the library so that I can keep the lightweight stuff on my laptop, but put the heavy weight stuff (like Session Drums and EIC) on a portable hard drive. Then, when I'm not using SD and EIC, I wouldnt have to plug in the hard drive?

Re: How many of you who own Windows 7 run a flawless setup?
Can any of you come back and mention what audio interfaces you're runnnig on Win7 (x64)? Seems like the pickin's slim for decent drivers on Win7 x64. I've almost settled on Focusrite Saffire 6 USB, but I'm open to other interfaces that are stable on Win7.

Re: Audio interface advice needed
I've been looking at the Focusrite Saffire USB 6 for my 64 bit Win 7 rig - they list Win7 drivers when they launched it last month - but I havent seen any reviews out for it yet.

video tut on remixing or composing?
Besides Cosm's stuff, which is awesome and shows great workflow - most of the other vids I've found are more about how to use Live and not 'how to make a song' or 'good workflow'. Any suggestions for these types of vids?

Playback in the clip editor
If I have a bunch of clips loaded up in the session view, and maybe have some green triangles lit up from playing around in the session view, and then double click on one clip to see it in the clip view - how do I play back just that one clip in the clip view as I'm tweaking it? It seems like Live ...

Re: low latency windows 7 64bit usb soundcard recommendations
I've been shopping the same. Most existing cards had a hard time with Vista 64 bit drivers and/or have many complaints for their Windows 7 drivers. I've found good Windows 7 64 bit feedback on:
