Er.. from the description on the Github project page, it doesn't look like it sends out MIDI data. Or am I missing something?SoutherlyBuster wrote: ↑Sat Jul 08, 2023 9:32 pmSpotted the Open Theremin project on:

Re: Theremin like Midi controllers
I have one of these.
https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1355257193/e-ther-the-e-theremin
I wasn't impressed with the audio quality, using the optional audio output board, but seems quite cool as a MIDI device, outputting CCs.
Obviously, it's not a "true" theremin, but it's quite a fun little device.

Thanks for your reply.
That's disappointing. Perhaps it will be added at some point.

Push 3 Standalone Change Track Order
Apologies if this has been covered before, but is it possible to change the order of tracks in Push 3 Standalone, after they have been created?
If not, does anyone know of any workaround, like copy-pasting a track into a different position and deleting the original?

Re: PUSH 3, Bugs and features wishlist
Feature Request:
Ability to manipulate warp markers. I push and pull these around a lot on the Desktop version, and it's a shame it doesn't seem to be possible in Standalone.

Re: Map Velocity To Sample Start Point
Hi, thanks for your reply!
I was looking at the "Start" param in Simpler. That actually can be modulated by Velocity using Expression Control, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work reliably. It occasionally does alter the sample playback start position, but most of the time it plays from the ...

Map Velocity To Sample Start Point
Hi All,
this may require Max4Live, but something I used to do a lot on my hardware sample, back in the day was map MIDI key velocity to sample start position.
Is this possibly in Live? I'd like the entire range of the sample to be accessible in this way, so effectively the sample is split into 127 ...

Re: M4L Sysex dump utility
Hi sigabort,
Doing a bit more research, it looks like Leigh Hunt has already written an OSX-only set of Max externals for accessing MIDI ports directly.

I'm a Mac user, so that's fine with me. I guess it should be possible with this ...

M4L Sysex dump utility
Anyone know if it would be possible to create a simple M4L MIDI FX patch to record a Sysex patch dump from an external synth, then send it back out to the synth again when required? That way, you could use the synth's own controls to create a patch, then dump it to Live, and save it with your Live ...

Re: My approach to push, after playing it for a month or so
I've found myself using the encoders a lot, but rarely recording using the pads. I find them a little small, and hard, and you have to really whack them to get full velocity. I'm not really much of a live player, though, so I wasn't expecting to be banging out beats on it straightaway. I think a ...

Re: Multi-Channel MIDI Files and Live 9 Browser
I managed to work around the problem by importing the MIDI file into Live 8, and exporting each track as a separate MIDI clip. Not ideal, though. I still think having multi-channel MIDI files show up in the browser as a folder, allowing the component tracks to be imported individually is much better ...

Re: Ableton Live 9.0.2 doesn't remember the audio interface Motu
I've been having the same issue with my 828 MkIII, too. Happened Live 8, Lion and Mountain Lion, and now it's doing the same in Live 9.x.
Let's hope the new drivers fix the issue, and are reased soon! Maybe they'll also allow me to reliably create an Aggregate device so I can use both my 828s ...

one thing: it won't be multitouch most likely. it will be dualtouch most likely. like the iphone/ipod touch, like about any multitouch screens on this world.
The iPhone and iPod Touch can handle at least 5 fingers. Have a look at OSCemote and try the Multitouch panel if you don't believe me. I'd ...

Re: Apple's iPad - Lemur killer?
There is no velocity sensitivity on the iPhone... I'm assuming they're just using the some type of algorithm based on the surface area of your finger changing or something like that.
But if the algorithm works well... who cares?
The "velocity sensitive" stuff I've seen uses the microphone to ...
