Very Stupid Question: I've been using Live for awhile but i've never used it to record. How do you record audio into a channel? I've enabled it on my soundcard and tryed a little but i cant get anywhere

it comes with two samplers - Simpler & Impulse. Simpler lets you control one sound (or many at the same time by linking channels) ~ Impulse lets you control 8(?) different sounds. they come with presets for bass, snare, etc.

it should have come with a CD that has the drivers & a control interface. those two elements are a must.
if u dont have those i would go to M Audio's website & see if you can download them.
once you have the drivers installed plug in the keyboard, turn it on, start the midi interface program & Live ...
