Still not working for me. I removed the reg key rebooted....no joy. Then removed all the Logitech webcam stuff and rebooted.....still no joy.

DO I have to reinstall Ableton? What should I try next???

Is there a removal tool for the Logitech stuff...if yes where do i get it?

anyone know if just uninstalling from the control panel will fix this. I do have a Logitech camera installed, so it could be this thats the problem. However I do on occassions use it on this laptop , but at least if I know thats what it is I can install it and remove it when I need it I suppose ...

Ive installed this on my old pc upstairs also XP and it worked fine. Incidentally are all you guys using Dell?

My Laptop is a Dell Precision M4300 with 4gb Ram so it should run everything pretty well.

I also emailed Akai about this on Saturday, but I think there response time is 24 ...

Yeh ive tried rebooting, it appears to me that the driver for the apc is not installing correctly. I've treid removing it from device manager and every time it reinstalls as USB Audio Device. Iss this correct or should it appear in device manager as APC 40?

ive got mine but cant get it to work with my pc laptop. the option to add the apc 40 as input in preferences is greyed out. Ive tried using the version of live that ships with the apc and also live 8....both are the same.

Works perfectly on my mates macbook though.....any thoughts please?

Ive just received my APC40 and I'm having a problem.

I have live 8 installed and when i go to the preferences to select the apc40 as my midi controller, the option to set the apc as input is greyed out. No matter what I do i cannot select this as an option.

HI I have recently purchased A Dell Inspiron 1501 LAptop, it has 1 gb RAM, a 1.6GB AMD 64 x 2 cpu. I am dual booting so am running Ableton in XP.

I have also purchased a bcd2000, which I can install, and it seems to install ok.

When I then go into Ableton and import a track it takes forever, and ...

Is it possible to use 2 soundcards in Ableton then? I have onboard sound and my Audigy 2 available??
