defragmenting your hard disks will reduce the clicks and drop outs in the exported file. They will still be there though, but less :(
I thought this was done automaticly under Mac OS X.
Oh well, however, this is quite a serious problem. s it is now, I´m not sure I will be able to export my whole ...

I still say these movies are lying. Look at the second clip ( called "Uninterrupted Creative Flow" ). The section about recording loops on the fly is bogus.
Tell me how I am going to start and stop a recording while both my hands are occupied playing the guitar as in the movie. Maybe it should be ...

Yeah..I guess that would be a way out.
Here´s the video, once again ----> http://www.ableton.com/pages/live_6/sho ... ative_flow
However, I can´t see any indication of that he triggers the clip again. The play-symbol remains red throughout the recording.

Well, a footcontroler would kinda solve my problem but not quite. Look at the video. It mentions nothing about any external footcontroler and you can clearly see the guy has his hands on the guitar when the clip starts to loop. And why do they emphasise that the global quantisation is set to 2 bars ...

I now how I can get a similar result. If I for example set the global quantisation to 2 bars I can press the play-button in the clip right after I´ve started recording. However, this is hard to do when I hold my guitar with both hands or when I´m standing over by my mic.

Record and autoloop: How do I do that?
This is driving me nuts, and I´ve tried to extract information about this from the manual for a long time, without any result. What I want to do is what is described in this showcasemovie ( and I know this function isn´t exclusivce for Live 6 ) ---> http://www.ableton.com/pages/live_6/showcase ...

Yeah! Sinature Automation would be really nice but what about tempoautomation? If you don´t use the session-view it´s nearly impossible to get exact values for this. Let´s say I want to change the tempo from 120 to 140 on the 16th beat, and not using any clips through the sessionview. Well, then it ...

Tempo automation
Hi!
I have two problems:
1. When I automate the tempo ( using the mastertrack and changing the tempo curve ) the change isn´t effective. The song just keeps on going in 88 bmp, my original tempo.
2. How do I make an exact tempo change? I want my song to go from 88 to 118 but even with the cmd ...
