Good on you, Jack. The only people that don't understand the American public doesn't want war are the rank and file Republicans who don't look into the issue deeply and/or don't act with principle. Of course, all 3 of the candidates are groomed through the globalist CFR, so I don't hold favor to ...

What you use to distort your guitar depends on how you want it to sound. If CPU is your top priority, then of course you have to put sound further down the list. I tried the Ableton guitar racks and found them they sounded close, but were more CPU intensive than the Marshall stack simulator that ...

feedback detection

I recall seeing a software feedback detection long ago, but never used it. Did a search and found the ReaComp plugin has a feedback compression mode. Try and let us know, ok?

While you are developing, make some basic mix clips from your arrangements that you like. During performance, trigger the basic base beats as loops and then run some detail swooshing and filter sweeps over the top using voices, white noise, etc.

Make some basic accompany drums mixes to add into ...

Condensor mics reproduce higher frequencies far more accurately than dynamic mics.

The HOW is technical - condensors use electrically charged plates that respond to higher frequency (e.g. 10khz +) sound pressures than a dynamic mic. Dynamic mics are based on a spring which has an inherent tension ...

It can be done several ways -

1) Trim the clip where you want the extension to begin. On the second half of the clip, time stretch to taste.

2) Duplicate the clip on a second track. Fade the first track's volume out. On the second track, warp to taste, then fade volume in.

2.1) As an ...

Personally, I prefer the sound of an acoustic guitar recorded with a condensor mic. However, the sound of any pickup MAY be the sound you want. Plenty of music has been recorded both ways. The decision is what sound YOU want.

If you go with a mic, you can record and play yourself at the same time ...

It is as simple as that. When you're in record mode, it records any changes, even gradual ones.

You can create changes while not in record mode - just go to the track parameter and draw or drag points. Toggle the pencil at the top center (or use ctl-B).

You can edit changes the same way after you ...

Rendering is affected by what is selected in the loop range. Set the loop start and end points, select the loop, then render. Edit the loop endpoints with either the graphical left and right brackets in the overview panel or numerically at the top.

You probably changed the tempo while the track was ...

change high hat foot pedal

With impulse, I've mapped the inverted (negative) stretch with the decay time on an open HH sound. With the rack knob turned one way, it will play the sample unaltered. Turn the rack knob the opposite way, it closes up like a drummer pressing down on the high hat foot pedal. In arrangement view ...

You can do this using Live's routing that was introduced in v4. Here is how:

- put an FX on a channel - we'll call it Audio1
- set ReturnA "audio to" Audio1
- create a clip on Audio1 to animate the FX parameters

The audio path is SendA > ReturnA > Audio1. Audio1 animates the FX for ReturnA.
