He? did you tried it? the AMT8 / UNITOR drivers are still part of OSX...
you should not need to install anything... Intel or not.

i used an AMT8 still until about 1 year ago... had it permanently from a friend of mine, i just plugged it into the MBP 10.4.xx and went to midi / audio setup to patch ...

Apple bought Emagic, the manufacturer of AMT8. I don't think I'm wrong to expect some small measure of support on their part no matter what software host I happen to choose. Did they really expect ALL AMT8 users to switch over to Logic and ditch whatever software they happen to prefer?

Apparently the drivers necessary for use with Intel Macs can only be found in the Logic Express install discs. Apple support site makes no mention of these latest drivers nor do they post them for ...

I've heard the Zoom H2 preamps are kinda crap, but I'm currently shopping for a cheap and portable second recorder (I own a PCM-D50) for mp3 recording via external inputs.

Would you say the H2's preamps and A/D conversion are acceptable for 320 kbs mp3 recording from vinyl?
