Thanks for the thoughts. Not sure it'll work for what I'm trying. But I'll think about it.
Yeah, MidiPipe is on the Mac.
Controller filtering just seems like such a basic function. Can't believe it's not right there in front of me.
Anyway, appreciate the note.
Thanks!
David

Midi filter plugin?
Hi,
I know midipipe is a good filter, but I only want filtering on one track, not all the incoming midi. Is there a midi filter plugin I can put on an individual track, like the Ableton midi effects? I just need to disable some controller information to a single instrument. (Can't believe LIVE ...

MIDI drums - all on one track to separate tracks?
Hi,
I'm working with some midi drum tracks. I'd like to pull out different notes to their own track so I could more easily work with their velocities - especially using LIVE's midi velocity effect. Any ideas how to do that?
I've tried copying from the original track but I can't get the notes to ...

universal plugins
Hey,
Yeah, I think I do, at least for one or two. I just installed the lates Absynth 3 and assumed it would show up. On my G4 and G5, it shows up as both VST and AU. But like I said, I don't even see a folder for VST and AU in LIVE's browser. It seems i would see that even if there were no usable ...

Same problem ...
Hey,
I'm just migrating stuff over from my G4 to my MacBook and having almost the same problem. No matter what I try, LIVE does not see any plugins except, in my case, Apple. No AudioUnit. no VST. They're in the right folder. Everything is correct.
So anyway, I'd be happy to have AudioUnits ...

MIDI clip delete
Hi,
It would make a huge difference for LIVE looping if there was a relative delete button on every track, like the relative play and stop buttons. MIDI mappable, of course. So whatever clip I just recorded could be deleted.
Another option would be a universal midi-mappable delete key, but then ...

Different interface for live band use. Plus misc requests ..
I use LIVE with my band in our live show in the typical way: triggering scenes per song section. Each song uses its own set.
Our biggest problem is that our drummer is calling up the sets and it's hard to use the trackpad with sweaty hands, and hard to read the display. Overall, it's clumsy ...
