FWIW- there are always a few folks who have some problem with something not working... I have NO problem with either USB port on my MBP C2D doing audio.

Hi Folks
I am playing tonight (5 hrs from now) and am planning on using an external MIDI keyboard with the clips in gate mode so I can stop and start the clips by holding down the keys on the keyboard... I wanted to add a sustain pedal so that I could keep a couple of clips playing while twiddling ...

Ha - solved!
Well, sorry to waste anyone's time... it always happens to me. i post some "duh" question publically, immediately go back to Live and figure it out on the spot. They -do- work with midi mapping. I just needed to open the controls to see the boxes to check...

Newbie here - I read somewhere that Live 5 (OSX) and Pluggos can't do midi mapping / automation. Anybody know the status of this disappointing situation? And I noticed that the Apple AU plugins don't use midi mapping, and several other VST and AU's don't do Midi mapping either. Just the ones ...

Just starting with L 5.0.2 on a 1G TiBook OSX and put the Library of extra Live Packs on an external hard drive. I have used the menu to Install teh Packs and it does - but where do I access whatever it is that is installed? It doesn't show up as Sets in my Library browser adn I don't see ...
