That seems like an easy thing to add as a plugin. There are a bunch of analysis plugins and free oscilloscope plugins available that can be used if they don't add a stock plugin within Live.

If you're going to get into some production as well it might be worth going with something like the APC40, which can do a lot more than the XSession. There have been a lot of problems with AU plugins in Live 8.1.1 that weren't happening in 8.1. Could be more of a Live issue than a Waves one. But if they aren't working in Logic either maybe there's something wrong with Waves AU as well as Live 8.1.1 AU support.

The weird thing about the CSR Reverb plugin crashes is that CSR Plate works fine , but the other three (room, hall, inverse) don't. Pretty annoying.
