I've read some reviews on the NI Audio Kontrol 1. I gonna buy the NI AK1 (oh my wallet!). Low latency, good audio quality and nice software package. One downside: it misses digital IO, but I don't really need them. Thanks again.

HiEnergy, the Phase 26 doesn't seem to have ASIO driver, right? How's the latency with MIDI Keyboard and Live?

Hi, I'm looking for a simple portable USB audio interface with good driver, low latency and low CPU load (for Windows Notebook).
I don't need any advanced features like multichannel, digital IO.

I can't recommend you any specific freeware sampler but perhaps you should take a look at this list (free sampler / sample player).

When you map a instrument rack macro control to ONE instrument
parameter within the rack and you fiddle the macro control, you get a

I know about the (multiple channels) resizing, but having real organized folder and group tracks would make life much easier with live (esp. when using a mackie control where all channels get listed), IMHO.

Look, I' m aware of the fact that I don't have any pets. Also I like my working live sets as much as I like my working audio system. But I don't like putting my flawless audio system installation at risk by installing live 7 demo.

so why don't you live 7 ...

I'd love to. But I don't like the idea that Live 7 is messing with my Live 6 sets or in general making problems when reverting to Live 6 as reported by other Live 7 demo users.

two things that I find pretty annoying in Live 6 are:

- Too many tracks in the session view, esp. when opening multitimbral softsynths. Can you finally fold tracks that belong to one synth? Any sort of folder tracks? Group tracks? Something like that?

- No parameter feedback in ...

Update: I tried huskervu 1.01 with MIDI Yoke and it worked in the way that it didn't lock up. The bad news is that the display does not update correctly as Boulderdash pointed out in his post .

So i got the choice between (A) correctly displaying the MCU display but locking up after 0 to 30 minutes ...
