Thanks Akshara, that totally worked. Now I just have to hunt down the offending VST/AU.

Ableton's support hasn't been much help. They want a crash log, but the program dosent crash, it just wont open up without being online. I guess they might think I'm up to something suspicious....

Anyhow I assume your suggestion was to turn off online activation and just do the offline type, thanks ...

Everything is already authorized and legit. But when I turn off airport Live refuses to open. Anyone know why this is?

Thanks for the help Ned, but no luck. The only random devices I can find are the random send devices (SendsRand) like the above user mentioned. When I do a search for "random" in my device browser it turns up nothing additional as well.

I'm on a Mac if that makes a diference. Maybe something's ...

Sorry if this has already been discussed elsewhere but I cant find it.

Im trying to do what I see when opening a Live project downloaded from Ableton, there's always a picture and notes in the Help Viewer. Anyone have a link to a tutorial on how this is done? Thanks,
