Hello, has anyone ever had this problem? I’m trying to record two midi tracks simultaneously and when the notes begin to display during the record, they are visibly out of sync. As in one track vs. the other is registering the input of the notes differently. One of the tracks even seems to be ...

You can use the Live object model to dynamically route the output of a track and therefore control what is going into the dummy track. I'm pretty sure you can't select which plugin is affecting which track is being routed into the dummy track, though.
Can I ask why you want to do this?

I don't want to use the solo function because I will be using cue mode instead. I'm gearing this towards a performance style.

What do you think is the best way to do this? I can think of a few ways but they are all a lot of work.

Will explain what I am trying to do:

1) Have a bunch of tracks playing (most likely in a buildup)
2) Set all clips to stop at the end of the next 8 bar phrase

OK, it was my bad on the download thing. I wasn't aware but now I am.
And hey, I love Ableton. I think it is one of the greatest tools out there. It just seems their way of going about doing things isn't the best for the user.
