I split up with my missus

Post by necho » Mon Nov 02, 2009 1:44 pm

What's the internet for, if not for broadcasting your personal life to complete strangers?

3 years - and we share a house.... life's a bitch.

I'm being psychologically waterboarded every day and I'm sharing a room with a cat litter tray.

So - what do you reckon? Binge in the pub until she moves out? Buy a couple of ounces of herb and retreat into my room? Get back into Max/MSP? Buy an Xbox and get a Dominoes menu? All of the above?

Really???

Are you married or just GF/BF?

Always a harsh time. But, definitely a breeding ground for creative music.]

saw that documentary last night on Fleetwood Mac, essentially 'Rumours' was just songs written by each of the band members to convey their feelings to other band members who were now exes.

They made a few quid from that.

I vote, using the tools you have, write some cool new music.

Oh, and be nice to her even if she isn't being ncie to you. Nothing is worth compromising your inate goodness over.

easier said than done mind...

This is the best lyric I've heard in a long time.

Oh HELL yes - time to dig out the old steel-string and smoke a packed of marlboro reds....

Edit: not married, no kids, rental property.... could be worse!

Sorry to hear that, necho: what's the internet for, if not for broadcasting your condolences to complete strangers?

I advise putting your life in overdrive both in terms of work & productivity and in your social life, leading to a series of escalating encounters culminating in gatecrashing an ultra decadent secret society bacchanalian party.

First and foremost, sorry for your pain. Secondly, always look at the bright side...you are VERY lucky. You could have been married and had kids and property. What a clusterfucknightmarishhellhole that would have been. Now all you have to mend is your heart. And think of all the puntang you can bang in the process.

Two 'u's do it? "Puuntang"?

@necho - Sorry to hear that, chap. With the best will in the world, it's never nice when things come to an end. I'd get your smooke on (I know, I said 'smooke') and make beats 'til the sun comes up. Then sleep. Then play some PS3. Then smooke some more. That'll do it.
