I just purchased Suite in the box, and installed it from CD. I therefore have version 8.0.1. I have been lurking on the forums for a while, and have resisted installing the update to 8.1.1 due to the horror stories (crashes, long load times, and other issues I can't remember). Should I keep 8.0.1 for a while and see if the updates solve some of the problems? Or are the problems isolated and overblown. It is always hard to tell, since a few noisy people with problems can make a product look really bad...

Any thoughts?

How exactly did you set up that awesome dub delay?

Return channel with Simple Delay > EQ8 > Compressor. Full wet and zero feedback on the delay, send Return channel to self.

For me, it is just now starting to make sense but I have only been taking it seriously for about the last 6 or 7 months. Before that, I was to extent discouraged.

It’s a fun hobby, good luck!
Wow, you really sold me on that one! I think I'll find another hobby. :D
Personally, I prefer to have my expectations tempered with the truth than to hear more marketing-speak like "There's no limit but your imagination!", or Apple's "It just works!" Yes, it just works...until it doesn't.

I grew up with Tom Baker being aired in the US on PBS in the early 80's. A few years ago I downloaded all of Pertwee's stuff, and I have to say Pertwee kicked ass. And Jo Grant was 10x flavors of awesome all swirled together.

I never got hip to Who. But I like how he just keeps on going. Like Japan's Ultra Man!

yeah I just upgraded to the suite too for the special price that expires quite soon. I'm impressed so far with the new instruments and glad to have all the extra modulations available in sampler 8)
