That's the attitude which will eventually lead you to OSX, Applecare and cheap Chinese RAM with an Apple sticker for 3 times the price.

COOLING: 120mm CPU cooler and exhaust fan
MAINBOARD: Gigabyte P55
RAM: 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz Corsair
HDD1: 320GB OS drive
HDD2: 1TB Audio drive
PSU: 500W Seasonic
GPU: HD3450 ATI dual ouput silent cooling
OPTICAL: DVD R/RW
FIREWIRE: 2x Texas Instrument firewire ports
CASE: 19" Rack case with acoustic insulation

What do you think? Value for money or not?
Check those components on geizhals.at/eu and add them up yourself... seems a bit pricy for me at first glance. Do you build it yourself? I calculated those components on one site and it told me around 930 euros... so either you have forgotten a lot of components in your list or GB is just that expensive...

If you got the money and don't want to build it yourself... go for it.
Building your own pc isn't rocket science, but that's just my personal opinion. Buy a case and add some huge fans that are rotating at very low speeds, isolate those hdds with some tiny rubber pins from the case and you won't hear anything.
