Updated to Live 8 this week, Discount for Live 9?

Post by EnjoyRC » Mon Feb 08, 2010 5:55 pm

I just updated to Live 8 Suite this week. Then it dawned on me that Live 9 could be just around the corner. I've seen in the past a discount for those who upgraded after January something. Wonder what policy they will apply to Live 9? Especially since I updated to 8 for the Sharing Capabilities which are nonexistant.

Live 9 isn't just around the corner or even down the street.

I only asked that because of past annual release dates. Nothing more...

Thanks for sharing that. I didn't read that till now.

Don't get me wrong... I'm not trying to get something for nothing. I've been an Ableton Live user since v1. And have purchased every version since.

No worries. I know a lot of people don't let this forum consume their life like others of us. Hopefully since you just got 8 it will be fairly stable. If not feel free to join the rantathon. :)

I'll take a rock solid Live 8 and a good reverb. If they're feeling especially generous, a good delay too. They can keep the money.

Having not upgraded to 8, i'd really like to have some kind of deal on 9, however, it's definitely the people who have parted cash for 8 that deserve some kind of discount/special deal.

Poor bastards.

It will really be the "bug free" Live 8 you always wanted.
