Updated to Live 8 this week, Discount for Live 9?
I just updated to Live 8 Suite this week. Then it dawned on me that Live 9 could be just around the corner. I've seen in the past a discount for those who upgraded after January something. Wonder what policy they will apply to Live 9? Especially since I updated to 8 for the Sharing Capabilities which are nonexistant.

Live 9 isn't just around the corner or even down the street.

I only asked that because of past annual release dates. Nothing more...

Don't get me wrong... I'm not trying to get something for nothing. I've been an Ableton Live user since v1. And have purchased every version since.

No worries. I know a lot of people don't let this forum consume their life like others of us. Hopefully since you just got 8 it will be fairly stable. If not feel free to join the rantathon.EnjoyRC wrote:Thanks for sharing that. I didn't read that till now.beats me wrote:yeah but

Live 9 is possibly in the next county having a scone and a cuppa, but i think she is driving a volvo with her pet dogs Bug and Fix so wont be here for a while yet

I'll take a rock solid Live 8 and a good reverb. If they're feeling especially generous, a good delay too. They can keep the money.3phase wrote:so the people that was clever to avoid all the still ongoing beta testing even get a bonus ?

Having not upgraded to 8, i'd really like to have some kind of deal on 9, however, it's definitely the people who have parted cash for 8 that deserve some kind of discount/special deal.3phase wrote:i actually think that the people that suffred from live 8 the whole 2009 should get a bonus
Poor bastards.

Yeah sure
.
It will really be the "bug free" Live 8 you always wanted.

Somewhere between a rock and a hard place is actually nowhere.

i saw her driving the volvo indeed.. but it had trouble getting past the "bridge" so she headed heading for the lounge instead..Emissary wrote:Live 9 is possibly in the next county having a scone and a cuppa, but i think she is driving a volvo with her pet dogs Bug and Fix so wont be here for a while yet
