absolutely agree. I'm just glad these debates get heated but not personal, 3phase is responsible for a lot of that, he catches a LOT of crap from people including myself and he just rolls with it.

We're currently working on stability. Everything else - including improved file handling - is a feature request, and will be added to the list of potential future improvements.

that was clear.. but the wish forum has endless entries ... i think it cant hurt to emphazise a bit on the actual live playing ...

The problem to form a live set from materials that is spreaded over various projekt folders is defenetly there..

in a way live is a patternbased sequencer without the ability to ex/import patterns.. thats a major conceptional flaw that should have been adressed a long time ago..

the clip related automation would be just the icing on that cake.. but very powerfull feature just for many other creative purposes.. not just the stage situation..


and finaly the multi instances problem.. it helps on stage.. but also in normal production to be able to have multiple arrange versions open and being able to paste between them...


such 3 basic things would give a much better performance with live than any gimmicks...

But as i know ableton by now you will have surround support first and convolution reverbs because it sells better... and will have us waiting another few years without the real workflow improovements so many peple are asking for since years..

The problem ist that such basics was´nt included from the start.. now you cant spare development time anymore for such banal sounding improovements..

But they only sound so banal because they are actualy essentials
