Loop clips shortcut in session or arrange

Post by Badger123 » Sat Nov 13, 2010 10:14 pm

Just discovered this one...

The multiple selected clips loop status can be toggled via a keystroke if you assign the "Loop" parameter in the clip box to a shortcut. I've set mine to ":", the music notation for repeat. Easy to remember and not too confusable if you also set "L" being set to Loop in the arrange page.

Note that if you make a selection of clips in the arrange which have some loops enabled and others not and then hit the ":" key, the status of all clips reverses both ways so single playing become looped and looped become single play. I'd rather it behaved by normalising all to loop and then unloop but hey, still a useful keystroke.

If this was Facebook, I'd definitely hit "Like" on this one. Good, resourceful tactic!

if we were in person, i would ask you to explain what the hell you were talking about...

nevermind, i read it slowly. i get it. damn, its crazy how confusing something can be for a second and then how much sense it makes when you actually use your brain.
