Post by robyale » Thu Mar 31, 2011 9:02 pm

Has anyone had any issues after installing Windows 7 Service Pack 1?

Here's a link to the changes:

My work laptop has Windows 7 SP1 and I can feel the difference in boot time and system performance.

I run windows 7 64bit and recently upgraded to SP1 as well.
I too got the impression that boot times and performance suffered.
Over time this has improved however.
I think this is thanks to the Superfetch service that in its description states "Maintains and improves system performance over time."
I guess it works.
