http://www.ableton.com/answers/windows- ... ly-crashes
cause I thought I'd try that to see if it would work
to which I got a response that I should contact technical support...
Which I've done I sent a crash dump about 3 weeks ago and never heard anything back so I just assumed that the crash dumps and e-mailing support was just kind of a like "to make you feel good" implementation.. but maybe I'll just have to be left with a broken Ableton for a while because their volume of support is too high.. Which I guess isn't a good sign :-/ but I digress :-p
I sent another email today with 8 more crash dumps that I got so hopefully I get a reply this time
Which is why I tried answers... cause well I'm out of them and was hoping you'd have some
As far as what the other person said in there about test strain the system....
Like Ableton crashes when I'm doing nothing... It starts up about 80 percent of the time the rest of the time it crashes..
If I leave it open and come back and hit space bar it crashes
Apologies in advance if this is the wrong method of communication for this but contacting support so far hasn't got me anywhere so this is kind of my last refuge
Thanks in advance
