Thanks Robert for the brief lecture of the foundations of the well known green-yellow problem, which as you well know may be transformed into the spectral install/uninstall matrix of Gödel.
Interesting enough, the event horizon for these thesis goes back to an unknown but highly influencial Austrian named Oskar Poss. He was a pharmaceut, unwillingly dragged out in the Word War One as "commander of the cooking wagon". He died in early 1916 when the wagon, filled with hot bean soup, fell over him.
In the clothes of Oskar Poss was found several manuscripts, some of which was hidden inside sealed pockets on the back of his coat.
Among these were found an unsortred collection av aphorisms etc, reminding a modern reader of late Wittgensteins works.
These pappers were collected, washed and commented by liutenant Fritz Klamperer, who survived the war and being a "man of papers" [Wagner, S., "The Life of War", London, 1924] he printed a small edition that came to be known (by a few) under the name of "The Possogrammes".
Klamperer numbered the scraps, even the ones that could not be restored.
Possogrammes 1200 to 1255 are blank. Then comes 1256, which in itself led to the building up of the whole possology (at least the west-northern branch as interpreted by Phil Dr G Musil-Henker).

This is how the 1256 possogramme reads (alternative interpretations in brackets):

"There is an explanation for everything[.][?]
Now, why [how come] is that [so]."

Connected to this (analysis of ink versus time) seems to be the 1289 possogramme, that states:
"If [when] not, why not [!]"

Wow, conny you are the first person i met who is also familliar with the work of Oskar Poss!!!
I was introduced to his writings when I was three. We had a pretty modern kindergarden gardnerin in the late seventies. She has been reading his works to us and we did draw pictures while she did.
What i found most amazing in his works, espcially in the early writings about
the four to the floor problem, was his strict modular approach towards undo.
I never fully understood the concept, but in retrospective I would say that
Live 5 is pretty much modelled after his ideas. As well as the orange.

But you know well (I know that because I know you well enough, from that very kindergarten you're talking about) that this theory of the regular orbit of the electron cannot apply directly to the uninstall of that very peculiar application used as a preinstalled tool by MANY of us in a day to day life ! You've obviously forgotten something about the harmonic oscillators and it's consequences into that from-to processes that lead us to look back on every action we plan to do as our compositions - the uncertainty component of the equation that shows that the energy level raises as we think !
Sorry, and I don't mean to offence you here (though you will understand that a so-called musician whose physics don't go further than Bohr...) but:

You can see that transition energy will allow you to use the larger spectrum of a doable action leaded by a degree of uncertainty that will push the energy level my almost 150 nm, therefore yellow would be a better advice, if granted that yesterday will be shorter of course, but do I have to remind ?

-Yellow :565- 590 nm

But Robert et.al.,

Even Einstein had to disavow his words. God does indeed 'play dice with the universe'. One must look at the quantum model or the new string theory which I strongly feel has much more bearing in this case.

Why the reinstall of the uninstal is not unlike Schrodingers perennial dematerializing cat. Only once the application is launched will we see (thereby influencing) the outcome. My suggestion to the lad in Wales is to 'choose the proper outcome he desires' PRIOR to launching the application. Everything else is merely a roll of the dice. The quantum foam has already shown itself to be too fickle in this matter.

to shine a doubtfull light on the welknown "pre-installed , installed , pre-uninstalled" experiment we can (re) used some of Oskar Poss's double double ( so twice twice) explantion of Schoedingers cat milk experience.

example 1 schoedingers original :

cat is placed in a box, together with a radioactive atom. If the atom decays, and the geiger-counter detects an alpha particle, the hammer hits a flask of prussic acid (HCN), killing the cat. The paradox lies in the clever coupling of quantum and classical domains. Before the observer opens the box, the cat's fate is tied to the wave function of the atom, which is itself in a superposition of decayed and undecayed states. Thus, said Schroedinger, the cat must itself be in a superposition of dead and alive states before the observer opens the box, ``observes'' the cat, and ``collapses'' it's wave function.

example 2 : oskarr poss lost notes on Quantum mechanisms and cat milk. (variation 3b)

cat (with milk ) is placed in a box , there are some atoms around and a hamer and some prussic hamer . Cat decides it's time to leave .....this puts the "human wanna be observer" in a super position. ..from multiple point of view :
1) the cats view (see example 1)
2) the human "observer" view (-> finds his/her self in state of mabye : did the cat leave ? , did it die ? is it still alive ?)
3) the box it kind of view ( combination of obsolete stringtheory and improbability drive, but thats in our next manual)

Thus , Hence and soforth
bringing it back to our original starters question of having "ableton live" ->uninstalled, installed and preuninstalled" , we can conclude that actually "ableton live" is in a superposition also :
It could be all 3 (and more) at the SAME moment ,
proven.. (and guilty as charged) , , ,
poss 2nd twist (8 bars) : not only "ableton live" but also the "human observer" is in this superposition.
and so is you computer (and therefor your reality).

to qoute the nice and easygoing philisopher/composer only known as monolake :
"live's what you make it"

Yes Waldo that is correct it is in all three states simultaneously. The boy just needs to decide which state he would prefer it in prior to the launch.
