I stopped using Safari altogether several versions ago.
I got no love from that combo then... so moved on to Firefox.
I only update it at all out of default.
2.8ghz Quad Mac, Live 9.77, Remote25, Maschine 1, Fa-66 optical link, Samson 65a. Dog hair.. lots.

WTF indeed. Safari is the only browser that supports h.264 HTML5 video out of the box.
No fucking flash or webm, thank you. Get ClickToFlash, set nonnative format policy to last resort.
Throw in clea.nr videos and YoutubeWide and thats it.

Use chrome. Yes, it has flaws too. But it's a bit faster. And I play YouTube videos with perfection in chrome.

quicker than both safari and firefox on my macbook...
