Ambient/IDM, need criticism!

Post by Effulgence » Fri Feb 17, 2012 10:20 pm

Hey fellow producers, I've been working hard on this track and finally finished it this morning. This is my first attempt at IDM and I also tried to mix some elements of Ambient atmospheres in there. I would love to hear what you guys think about this as any feedback/or criticism would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and take care :)

Heyup - good work there. The subtle reverb gives it a clear and punchy feel. If I was gonna be picky I'd say that the piano playing is dominated by crotchet and quavers notes which gives it a slightly mechanical feel... try runs of triplets and semiquavers to give feel.

2p please.
