you can use looper for pitchdowns like this:
If you have a looper set to e.g. 8 bars autolooping and activate it, and then you hit the big button again after two bars, your just made loop will be pitched down and slow somehow.

the other thing I did was to give a microphone to my 3 year old son, set looper to overdub and fade after one loop, and then let him speak into the machine, listening to himself echoing after 8 bars or so. he could have been going on for hours. I recorded it, but can't find it right now, haha.

Not sure about best either, But I like to use it to create slowly evolving ambient things my making a really long loop and incorporating various signal degrading effects in the feedback loop.

Nice sounds, crumhorn.
Out of curiosity, in the 2nd track, what did you use for the piano and violin pizzicati ?

All the sounds are from Live 8 (boxed) Suite standard library with EIC. I put about 8 to 10 different sounds in a rack with the chain selector automated to crossfade between.chapelier fou wrote:Nice sounds, crumhorn.

I've always liked the EIC grand piano, it seems to be mic'ed very close up to the soundboard - puts you right inside the works.
