thanks to the laptop people have been doing that for years.
point is, Ipods are a ripoff from the start. If you ask me, this is an apple marketing scheme.
You can get way more for your money with archos stuff or iriver.
Why spend potentially $1500 on a mixer and ipods, when you could get a laptop instead? Unless you are dumb enough to buy this thing in the heat of the moment.

Human beings make music with real instruments what do you need a laptop for?
Why use Ableton when you have turntables? Why use CD J's when you have turntables - an Ipod is just a smaller CD J - that fits in your pocket
I think it's just a matter of if it's something you want to do
I write beats on my PSP for fun...but since I have a computer should I not do that?
