yes, it would be more believable if Bin Laden was sporting tighter clothing.
Your Americanized vilian stereotypes are racist and offensive :x

Can't you be an tolerant equal opportunity hater like us Europeans?! :x

I don't think so. But that horse has been beaten to at least a second and third death.

When compared to the lizzard men, global warming being a hoax, the world ending in 2012 because some wise natives said so?!
Yeah, I would say it's pretty damn plausible.
There is nothing physicaly impossible about it, the actors involved would be absolutely willing and capable to further their causes with these means and there is a very plausible winning end game that these actors would want (we are watching it unfold right now btw ;-))

The only thing that is remotely implausible, is that they managed to keep it secret enough till now.

But then they also have the media in their pockets and anyone spreading the truth would be labeled a conspiracy theorist anyway.

Don't confuse yourself not wanting it to be so and repeatedly having beaten that dead horse when confirming your own bias, with it being in fact implausible.

Neither you or me have enough information to be sure.
But plausibility has nothing to do with it.

That's what history has to say to this:
At the time of the proposal, Cuba had recently become communist under Fidel Castro. The operation proposed creating public support for a war against Cuba by blaming it for terrorist acts. To this end, Operation Northwoods proposals recommended hijackings and bombings followed by the introduction of phony evidence that would implicate the Cuban government.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Northwoods

That part is interesting in context:
Although part of the US government's anti-communist Cuban Project, Operation Northwoods was never officially accepted; it was authorized by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, but then rejected by President John F. Kennedy.
So what if W, was a different man than Kennedy and chose not to reject it this time?!
Unimaginable?! Thought so ;-)
