Andreas, although yes i am guilty as charged for being an existentialist to some degree, i actually agree with you that the determining factors to people achieving their goals are certainly not self imposed. I am not as existentialist as you. I believe that certain people are more likely to A: Set high goals, and B: achieve them. And I think the factors determining this are mostly social structures, as opposed to genetics/divinities.
