It's their support line. Tech support reports bugs, the manual is filled with "bugs".

OK it's driving me nuts that the Live keyboard Shortcuts are still wrong. The very first shortcut for toggling full screen states that F11 is for Windows only, it's always worked for Mac too. I've written in twice that the shortcuts have numerous omissions and mistakes in them.

I really hope this new pdf concession also includes eventually treating the online-convertable-to-pdf manual as a live organism and we get instant updates when new features are added.

I am totally new to music let alone ableton 12, so you can imagine how I am feeling at this news.
What a dumb way to encourage take up - are we only pandering for Gen Z now or what?
I have actually been seeking a decent printed book, but it seems like only earlier versions are covered.
If anyone knows of a decent "covers EVERYTHING" book please do let me know!

The thread is about the lack of a PDF manual for Live 12. My suggestion was to post in public about that, rather than email them.

Anyway, looks like we now have a PDF manual. Yay!

The whole advantage of an online manual is to be able to update it regularly. That's not happening right now, but the idea is that the online one would be current. It's also possible to have it set up to where the adjustments made to the online manual are made to the PDF at the same time, but we won't know if that is how it works here until we see for ourselves if they do indeed work it like that.

Has something changed recently. I just went in under Help - Read the Live Manual and there's a PDF option there to download???
