Is there an easy way to do this in the new browser in Live 12?
There was a way to delete items from the Library in Live 11 — but it was somewhat convoluted.
What is the easy way to clean up the Live Factory library so it only has sounds I like in there?

What if you approached the problem from a different perspective by creating a Tag with only the sounds you like?

While I take your point, I just want to permanently hide or delete those sounds, to make my own browsing experience more fluid/less cluttered.maximejerryfraisse wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 7:27 amWhat if you approached the problem from a different perspective by creating a Tag with only the sounds you like?

On macOS, if you navigate to Music/Ableton/Factory Packs, you can either delete an entire pack or use ‘Show Package Contents’ to select specific files to remove.

Deleting entire packs from Live's browser is simpler and better, as it prevents ghost entries from appearing in the Packs section.maximejerryfraisse wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 7:43 amOn macOS, if you navigate to Music/Ableton/Factory Packs, you can either delete an entire pack
Keep in mind that deleted files will be reinstalled in a pack update.r use ‘Show Package Contents’ to select specific files to remove.
The same applies to a Live update where the Core Library is updated.
