Sorry, I haven't had much time to work on this lately.

I am working on a piece with many tracks, I am making adjustments on track 87 which is selected and solo, and I would also like to solo tracks 5 and 8 to hear all three at the same time.
With the bank fader button, I go to the first bank and solo track 5. But the bank fader directly returns to the one from track 87 that is selected.
I can confirm this unintended behavior. I'm not sure how to fix it yet, but I have some idea of why it's happening.
* When you change banks from the X-Touch with Sync set to Auto, the script makes Live's screen follow (by briefly enabling the "session box", which is the only way to influence which tracks are scrolled into view).
* However, the currently selected track (in your case track 87) is
not changed, because you may be working on something in the Details pane and I don't want to interrupt that.
* When you solo a track, that track normally gets automatically selected. I remember when I was working on Global Solo, this default behavior messed something up – I don't remember what exactly – so I changed it: when you solo a track using one of the SOLO buttons on the X-Touch, Live first makes a note of which track was selected
before, and then restores selection to that track after soloing track you wanted to solo.
* In your case, the track that was selected is track 87... And with Sync set to Auto, the moment the script restores selection to that track, the X-Touch banks immediately follow!
Anyway, still thinking about the best way to avoid this, but until then you could leave Sync set to Manual and use the manual sync button combinations.

Has anyone been able to find/order an X-Touch overlay for the modified script as provided by
RobrechtV and based on the template provided by
gregjar? So far I have only been able to find a generic Ableton overlay or overlays for a different DAW at Birchwood Studios.
Maybe if there is enough of us wanting this we could get some made?
I think
gregjar was planning to turn the button layouts into printable overlays. I also know of one other user who is working on an overlay including the various button combinations (SHIFT etc.). I'll ask them if they'd like to post here.
