The
sound that is playing in the cdj, i dont mean the effects or the scratching.
i understand that its the AAAAHHH sample from
this pack but how can i chop it up in live to recreate the cdj loop?

It sounds to me like all eddie did was loop the sample, then chop it with the channel fader, so that should be simple to do, but recording it might be a problem.
Try playing with the clip level parameter.

if u want chopping, use an autopan.
set the wave type to SAW, the phase to 0, the rate to 1/8, 1/16, or 1/4, the amount to 100%, and invert off.

it sounds too slow with the autopan :/
phil i cant understand how to do that...if anyone could recreate it , i would be grateful

played with the speed, and shape? it can get pretty fast, faster than most dj's i know can cut a fader.
just a thought...

ok if its what i think youre asking its super easy
its just that classic scratch sample, which u can easily find somewhere, looped.
that's it.
he just hit loop in then loop out quickly. in ableton, get that sound in Live, and set the loop in at sample start and loop out just a bit after. experiment with the loop out until it sounds like u want.

u loop it yourself!
load into live
double click clip
turn warp button on
turn loop button on
set loop in to 1.1.1
and loop length to about 0.1.0.
