Hi
I'm using a axiom 49 keyboard on my windows pc, and when
i power it up, sometimes windows tells me "usb devices not recognized", then
i leave it powered until windows recognizes it, but after some usage the keyboard drops again and i lose the control on live.
A signal: the screen flashes, like the device is having a power instability...
PS. sometimes it works like a charm, it's a very random thing.
PPS. i tried everything said on m-audio support.
Thanks in advance.
[HELP] M-AUDIO Axiom 49 keyboard
Re: [HELP] M-AUDIO Axiom 49 keyboard
Is there enough power going to your USB devices? That's all I can think of... maybe hookup a wall wart to power the keyboard or use a powered usb hub.joyrex wrote:Hi

It definitely could be a power issue. I had bad luck with a usb hub initially, even with it plugged in (powered hub). Once I plugged it directly into the computer, no problem.
However while it seems to be working fine, I have also started getting the blinking screen. It even went blank-blue on me once! Fiddling with the usb cable seems to help, but it might just be my imagination. We'll see... Other than that and the pads not retaining their new numbers (for Impulse), it seems to be working correctly.
But it's always something with M-Audio stuff....
