I don't own Battery but here is the Live 6 Drum map workaround:
- make a group with something very minimal in it - such as a midi-pitch (dont bother adjusting it, deactivate it even!).
- duplicate that about 20 times (drag the MidiPitch to the new layer space to duplicate )
- open the Layer 'key' editor
- set all the key-ranges for all the layers you have just made
- name the layers you made.
- right click on the layers and choose "show names in midi editor" from the Layers context menu
- put Battery AFTER the rack.
that should work

you should now see all the names of your layers in the piano roll, If you dont then make sure "Fold" is selected. If you see names like : " Kick | Kick2 | Snare " in one slot ... you have set your key ranges wrong and they are overlapping.
I use a variant method using lots of Simplers in multiple sub-racks , such as Kicks, Snares, Toms, etc. That way I can replace and group Kit sections quickly.
If you use sub-racks remember to "show midi names" on the master rack, not the sub rack- otherwise you will only see the names of your Toms (for example.)
hope that makes sense
