I question Grex being a legit company, I'm sure that the MXF8 is real, but it seems to be manufactured by the wrong people. I sent Grex an email telling them to come to this post to speak on their behalf. It just proves even more that they really don't give a fuck. Their attitude seems to be "I got your money, now you wait for me, and maybe I'll get around to it." One would think that a legit company would care to at least keep their customers informed and then take the money when they ship the product. The standard that they seem to have for conducting business is completely and totally unethical and deceptive. Where would I go to press charges against them for fraud? Because every day this is looking more and more like fraudulent activity.

Grex screw up

Post by Guest » Wed Apr 21, 2004 9:41 pm

Hey guys sorry to hear about your trouble with GREX.
Let me say that Gerard (who runs the company) is a fucking arsehole i've had dealings with him that didn't end too well. What i think may have happened is "cashflow" they may have the product but no money, so get
all you guys to send money which is then used order stuff in to make the thing, result is your waiting a long time until they can send this thing out.
That's why your geting no replies to e-mail, he's not going to tell you that
your funding this company directly, and he's no money of his own thats for sure.Try these numbers they're quite old but its worth a try if only to tell him that he's a wanker (which he is, believe me!) This is his mobile 07814186824 and i believe this was his home number but he may have moved. 01274-4620822 remember these are when phoning inside the U.K so you may have to knock zeros of from outside the U.K Good luck guys.

Damn. Its starting to make sense now that you gave us the scoop on this Gerard fellow. I was suspecting that kind of senario in the back of my mind, I was hoping it was just my lack of patience with this company and not that, but it seems to be the case. That is unfortunate here. Its sad that hes destroying the positive image of smaller business like he is. I am going to think twice before I ever order anything from a small business that operates over seas from now on. This Gerard sounds like a real piece of work that seriously needs to be stomped the fuck out, or thrown in jail. I emailed the EROL company earlier and told them of the situation, hopefully they might give a fuck seeing as they are the ones handling his transactions, and I doubt that they would like to be a part of fraudulent activity. Words cannot descibe how pissed off I am right now. My next step is to find out where I can report international internet fraud.

Best strategy would be to start phoning the police in Leeds.

Always pursue fraudster assholes by contacting the authorities in their jurisdiction.

Good luck guys, and keeps us posted (no pun intended).

How the hell do I call the UK? I never called outside of the US before, I dailed the 011 44 0781486824 but it wont work. Sorry for such a stupid question, but is that the right way to dial his number? I just want to get to the bottom of this.

What a complete waste of time and effort. What a momentous screw-up. What a shame.

Grex site is still up claiming these are for sale, no update or explanation why people aren't getting machines. 2000+ reads of this thread of people with problems, bad experiences all over the net. No responses to email enquiries at all as to wtf is going on. No apology or acknowledgment. I am disgusted at how Grex have dealt with this. Has anyone had a response of ANY kind or apology of some kind?

I've had responses saying that it would ship the following week but that was weeks ago.

A quick bump as the MXF8 largely targets Live users. The site is still up claiming the controller is ready for ordering and shipping when it clearly isn't. You won't even get a reply to any email let alone an MXF8, almost all attempts to communicate with the company are totally ignored. If you are blessed with a response it has so far proven to be nothing but lies.
